HLS Digital Directory
A sharing database for Health and Life Sciences staff at the University of Liverpool. Mostly so people put their teaching projects in one place, find related work, and maybe stop reinventing the same thing down the corridor.

CEDS already make a lot of digital teaching material for Health and Life Sciences: Storyline modules, little web games, animations, assessment tools. The problem was never whether the resources existed. It was whether anyone down the corridor knew they existed.
The directory is a place to put a project in, tag who it was made for, and get pointed at related work. The related-resources list is the interesting bit, not the search box. There is also a submission queue, printable play guides for the classroom games, and Matchup, which is the same idea turned into finding a person who liked the same tags.
It is aimed at HLS staff. The catalogue is live and still thin in places. That is the point. It only works if people put things in.
The mashup
A staff catalogue that tries to show this teaching project is related to that one.
AI-generated guess of the mashup mix, 1 to 5. Click a stat.
Catalogue 5/5: Storyline modules, videos, animations, classroom games, assessment tools. About 55 entries on the live site.

DemoMatchup
Same app: swipe tags and projects, then email matching with dual consent. A sibling idea on the same hostname, not its own writeup yet.
LinkClingo
Clinical bingo. One of the things this directory is meant to stop people reinventing down the corridor.
Print-to-PDF how-to-play sheets without the site chrome.
Official CEDS writeup of one of the catalogued games. Not a paper about the directory itself.
LinkComparative Judgement in the directory
One of the tools this catalogues. Demo login: demotask / demo.

Notes to self for media to add
- Hero: a messy desk of teaching stuff (Storyline screenshot, bingo card, animation still) being dropped into one search box, with a couple of “related” cards sliding in from the side. University / CEDS branding is fine. Do not make it look like a stock knowledge-management platform.
- Screenshots: directory filtered to a school or Game; one good asset page with Created for + Related resources (Comparative Judgement or Clingo); Add-an-asset form. Optional: a play guide in the browser, then the same guide as a print preview with the nav gone.
- Short demo: search a tag or a school → open an asset → scroll to related resources → “that is the whole trick”. If there is time, hit Add an asset at the end. Keep it under two minutes. No admin.
- YouTube Short: three related cards snapping in under one project, captioned something like “same faculty, nobody told each other”. Do not lead with Matchup swiping unless that is the story.
- Skip: admin/scraper, Pulse unless I am proud of it, Showcase (still says “Info to go here”), leftover modal title “Very long title goes here...”. Matchup only if it earns a place on this page.
- Privacy: blur staff names, emails, booking links, student-facing content. University branding is fine. No admin screens, no internal URLs, no passwords. GitHub stays off the page.
